A gunfight broke out in Aripal area of Tral in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district following a search operation launched by the government forces on Sunday.
Reports said that forces launched a cordon-and-search-operation following inputs about the presence of at least two militants in Dar Ganaie Gund village.
They said that a gunfight broke out after the militants opened fire on a search party of the forces.
